I enjoy visiting this restaurant with my family for the relaxed atmosphere and good food. The coffee needs to be more consistent, as I am sending it back more often and they seem to get it right second time around. Not sure why. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful. Burgers, pastas and the breakfast is our Favourite. We visit a few times a week but not anymore. My last experience was with my family of 8 and my mum was visiting. We had Steven for our waiter and he completely messed up our evening. Firstly, he brought my mums meal within 10 minutes and it got cold while she politely waited for the rest of the family to receive their meals. He screwed up the orders and I received a rump steak instead of fillet which I will never order but I ate it and paid for the wrong meal that was given to me because we all were getting our food at different times and if we had to return everything, we would have not eaten. My mum couldn’t believe that we ate here so often especially when the service was bad and the food was a disaster. I complained to the manager and all he said was that he was sorry and has spoken to the waiter and kitchen. This was when the first meal was delivered and about 19 minutes past. We waited almost 45 minutes for the next meal and Steven messed up the pasta order as well. No apologies and we were billed for everything, including the wrong food that was served. My wife and I couldn't decide between burger, pizza or pasta. We decided to go half-half on 2 of the burgers. One beef and one chicken. My wife likes her patty cooked through to well done, which is what we asked for, multiple times. The beef burger came medium rare, which I saw after cutting it in half. I told the waiter we asked for it to be well done and he took it back to the kitchen and when it came back, it was assembled on a new bun, but with the same patty, which was still not well done. Now, I'm already kinda annoyed that it came medium rare the first time, but what tipped me over the edge is the fact that they decided to give me a new bun, and the same patty. In that action, there is no sense of customer satisfaction. That left a pretty sour taste in my mouth about the place. I'd have been okay with them bringing me the burger I had already cut in half back, with the patty cooked to well done. But to give me a reassembled bun and all that with the same patty, instead of just starting again if you did with ever other component of the burger, it just gives a half job feeling to me.
