I had a disappointing experience at this location. I ordered and paid for three pieces of Mozart cake, but when I got home, I found only two in the bag. When I called the café, the staff member who took my order remembered me but seemed surprised that one piece was missing. After questioning, another staff member admitted to giving me only two pieces instead of three.

What made this worse was the frustrating back-and-forth with the head office. It took several days of emails to finally get a refund, but the overall experience left a very bad impression. Mistakes can happen, but the way a business handles them matters. The lack of professionalism and effort to resolve the issue was disappointing.

I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to others. If you do visit, I strongly suggest checking your order...

Mixed review... Went in for the first time on 17th Nov 2022. Bought seven different slices to try out. Excellent service. Maybe because I was the only customer. I took my teen daughters there five days later. Shocking service. Three workers laughing and addressing the needs of one client as we stood there at the counter having given a partial order. Mind you this customer came in after us.

They seem to pay more attention to familiar clients. Unacceptable in my books. The cakes are good, but I’ll give this Pineslopes branch one more chance before I decide if this was a one-off or a regular occurrence. The lady at the till was cheerful and professional both times.

Very disappointed in a staff member named Valencia - she made our experience miserable, we came in for the Tuesday Cake special and were told the cake selection we wanted was frozen and that we could not have it, not even allowing opportunity for us to explain that the cake was actually for later in the evening. Further to this, two sets of customers came in and received their orders whilst we had to wait without explanation. This was a very different experience to the previous week where we felt welcomed and could ask about the different flavours and cakes - a much more friendly environment. We hope that our next experience is more pleasant and without attitude to the customer...
