Knysna Pocket Breaks — Hotel in George

The unit is not worth the price. Very disappointing. The compound is cramped up and confined. The neighborhood also looks a bit sketchy. That compound actually consists of flats, where people pay rent every month. The basics were not in place. The bedrooms didn't have mats on the floors. The bathroom is too small and shabby-looking. Needs to be upgraded. The pictures posted on the Internet are not what you find when you get there. The balcony is small and cramped. There are fours chairs but they don't fit around the table put outside. How are people supposed to sit?! Overall, the price for that apartment must be reviewed. R950 for an apartment of such a standard is absolutely...

Very disappointed with this accommodation in general. Pics depicted in the website were deceiving! What I found was completely different from what was displayed in the guesthouse website.

My child was beaten by bedbugs! This shows that the rooms are not hygienically up to standard, the linen was not clean.

The price I paid for the room was very high for the standard of the room and the state it to be. At this stage I will not recommend this lodging to anyone who is visiting Knysna for holiday. It also appeared that this place has units used for long term rentals. Hence it looks more like flats.

Nice for a night or two stay over. Personally would like to offer some advice;braai areas must be upgraded and more should be build. Grills on the braais must be properly cleaned. More cutlery provided in the kitchen (no steak knives)and I had to borrow a bottle opener. Maybe a generator for during loadshedding. We were not provided with Candles or Candle holders or matches.
