Beautiful place however with the most horrible service , 1st time I went there was a year ago ,understanding the place was full hence we had to wait till a table was opened ,regardless of our order being taken and being assigned to sit at the bar meantime, we had to wait for an hour for a drink ,every food we requested from the menu was either unavailable or the waiter was not familiar with the constantly changing meals for the day, went again when it was less crowded , service was still horrible even though the food was great , only for my friend to drag me there 2 weeks back again to the worst service than my previous encounters , did we not wait for an hour to eventually get a manager have our drinks served after placing an order with approximately 4 different waiters ofwhich my friend had to personally walk around to get that drink served , with hope after speaking to the manager our food is yet to follow, we had to wait another hour to be told the kitchen is closed ,mind me , my order was done 2hours ago with a waiter who had confirmed the kitchen is opened, reason I asked if the kitchen was opened before making my order was because most kitchens in uMhlanga close at 8 which was when we got there for someone to tell me at 10.15 that the kitchen is closed, again my friend had to seek a manager to intervene, I ended up having finger bites as that was the only meal they could serve, so we jokingly ask for the bill in advance since everything is slow, we got it 45min later as expected , I advise the gentleman it's card payment and we splitting the bill into 2 , he left to get a speed point , which took decades, only for my friend to say lets leave, we stood up and left but because my friend did not want to leave without complaining firstly ,we eventually paid however the negligence and poor service in this place is reason I'm never finding myself in there , such a beautiful and renowned brand too just go...

Not a great experience. IF YOU LOOKING FOR GOOD FOOD GIVE IT A MISS. The presentation looks beautiful but quality of food is VERY VERY POOR.

My experience follows -

I took my wife out for her 40th birthday supper. arrived a 6:35. Decor, atmosphere and ambiance were great. 15mins later we placed a sharing starter order with Bhekani of Panko Crusted Prawns, top up onion rings and Salmon, and order for the mains of Duo of Pork and Deboned Half Chicken.

The sharing side arrived with my wife's main of Pork. Prawns had a stench to them straight off the bat. Onion rings were soggy and not crispy as stated, the salmon was greying, clear indication that the ingredients were going off. Food poisoning hazard ahead.

The pork medallions were over cooked and cold.

SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. RETURNED TO KITCHEN AFTER SPEAKING TO MANAGER COLIN WHO WAS VERY APOLOGETIC.

Remembering we arrived at 6:35, our food only again returned at 8:10. With a second round of Duo of Pork and the Deboned Half Chicken.

The pork was cold again and my chicken was warm with bones in chicken. I finished my bone in chicken meal and wife didn't eat hers.

The saving grace was the barman Nkosi. I give him 5 stars... That man is a mixologist of note. The manager was apologetic and offered to waiver the cost of meals and explained his decision although I offered to pay for my own meal.

On my 1st day of dining at this exquisite restaurant we were attended to by the young gentleman Wanda Maphumulo. He really made a good impression on us, he catered to our every needs. He knew his menu so well, he knew what to recommend for eats and drinks. Such a well manored, well groomed and articulated individual. He really made our 1st experience an awesome one.... Also had the pleasure of meeting the Chef Simmy, a guy behind the succulent meals at the restaurant🙌

My 1st impression of the restaurant it's absolutely classy, fancy, beautifully furnished, loved the decor and the ambience. On this beautiful Sunday noon they had Gagasi FM DJ Collen Zondo who played us some soul music 🎵🎶

Enjoyed their meat platter and drinks. What a beautiful place to hang out with friends and loved ones❤️ and listen to some beautiful sounds.

I was so impressed had to come back the following weekend (26/8/23) for Women's empowerment session with Jacinta from Vuma FM and some wonderful renowned business women from all walks of life, sharing their journeys. We closed the Women's month in style...
