Good morning Wimpy Store Manager
Hope this email finds you well ,
My partner and I came for mid morning breakfast yesterday Monday 19 May at the gateway Wimpy the one near the toys r Us entrance .
We were very disgusted at how we were treated when the 2 menus were just thrown at us by one of the waiters who did not greet neither did he say anything to us he just threw the 2 menus on the table and left we were in utter disbelief. I didn’t quite get his name but he had silver on his teeth as he was the only male standing infront when we left .
The waiter Nonhle then came to take our order who was also not very friendly and seemed to have like an attitude with the way she took our order ,to me this is absolutely disgusting customer service as we are regulars at wimpy . I asked her if you had earl grey tea with attitude she said no and gave the 2 options which you had . To me it feels like we’re treated a certain way and I’m very disgusted by this also my scrambled eggs were so terribly done over cooked and dry .
I will never go to this wimpy again and I do wait for some sort of feedback...

Lynette showed me excellent service and shebwas beyond friendly, the experience I had was night and day to their sister store, I had no idea there was two stores but thank god I found the superior store. Climbing wall needs to cone here and learn how to take Care of customers. 10/10 will always cone back here as the food and service are top notch especially after such a bad experience with the wimpy climbing wall location. Review for wimpy climbing wall I've always had a good experience here, but this morning qas beyond appalling. I was greeted and told to sit down at the back which didn't bother me, than given a menu and left for a full 10 minutes no one came to take my order. It wouldn't have bothered me if I hadn't seen the waiters and waitresses waking around checking on other tables, making small talk while I was left to starve. Read moreI was very disappointed with the hygiene standards during my recent visit. I wanted to use the brown sauce provided on the table, only to find it had an unusually thick, tar-like consistency — a clear sign it had been sitting there for too long or possibly refilled multiple times. When I raised the issue with the waitress, I was told there was "nothing wrong" with it, which was both dismissive and unhelpful.
After speaking to the manager, I was told they would clean the bottle, despite the restaurant having a "no refill" policy. It was obvious from the condition of the sauce and the bottle itself that it had been refilled several times. This raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene practices.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements better quality control. Diners should not have to second-guess the safety of something as basic as...
