Wimpy Gateway Theatre — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

Had lunch with my nephews here. This place is amazing. I love the fact that they have put tables in the kids play area so that parents/guardians can enjoy their meals while keeping eye out for the little ones not to get hurt. I do wish they could somehow expand the play area though because to some people it appear as cramped and unsafe for kids to play in. We had burgers for lunch and they were so good. Luckily the patties weren't undercooked nor overcooked, it was just right. I was also amazed by the humble waiter that served us, she was so kind. Terrible service and COCKROACHES on the table and wall!!!. My husband and I stopped at Wimpy by Dischem for lunch. No one seated us and was told to find a seat ourselves. After getting our meals there was tiny cockroaches on our table. There was also one crawling on the wall next to our sauces. We called the waiter and she said to speak to the manager, when the manager saw us she walked away without saying a word! Still charged us full price for our meals! Came specifically because Wimpy has kids play areas. This one is in serious need of repairs. Play items are broken and the climbing structure is too big for small kids to get up. Not an option for kiddies younger than 5, nothing for them to do besides sit on the Astroturf. It’s also very dark at the top once I climbed up and scary for young kids. Photos of all broken items.
