We had a really nice experience at this restaurant! The staff was very kind and helpful. They have indoor and outdoor seating and have a heater inside for cold nights. They mainly serve pizza, so my husband and I ordered the super Mario pizza and the chicken salad. Both were very nice. I’d say the pizza here was one of the best ones we’ve had in South Africa. Walking past Crust & Craft, the beers on tap caught my eye, so we decided to stop for lunch. The beers were refreshingly cold, and the pizzas we tasted were tasty. I also liked the restaurant's atmosphere, as it is located in the vibrant Hermanus Tourist Center, offering beautiful views. However, the service was a major disappointment. Food was average - aoli was inedible it was so garlicky. Service was slow despite a half full restaurant. When there was an issue with the bill and a card was declined the staff raised their voices and started yelling when we tried to explain that they were wrong about which transaction declined. Absolutely ridiculous to be yelled in front of other patrons at when there is irrefutable evidence that the payment was made. Staff demanded that we make another payment claiming it would reverse, but it was not that card that was declined. Won’t be back as the whole experience left a worse taste in my mouth...
