WORST EXPERIENCE IV EVER HAD AT A NANDOS BRANCH! ! We called the call center to order so my fiance asked for the hot sauce sachets to be added to our order so the lady said that we can request that when we go in so when we went to collect the order my fiance asked the lady for the hot sauce sachet so the lady only gave her one sachet so she asked the lady if she could please have a second sachet cause the meal is for two ppl and the lady didn't want to give her a second sachet so my fiance so then my fiance came to the car she told me what happened so we proceeded back to the nandos restaurant where I proceeded to ask for the manager so a gentleman by the name of Richard was said to be the manager so he had a smirk on his face the whole time I was lodging my complaint and was not remorseful at allor even interested in us but did end up giving me a second sachet of sauce so much of drama so my fiance wanted an apology from the lady who was rude to her about the sauce as the lady spoke to her with attitude..her name was shona so Richard proceeded to tel shona to apologize to my fiance again Richard had a smirk on his face as if he wanted to start laughing terrible attitude for a manager so shona half heartedly apologized to my fiance again with an attitude so my fiance ad to her that it's fine but she must learn how to have ppl skills and speak to ppl properly and not with attitude and when u apologize to a customer do it sincerely because that attitude will not get u very far in life.. Shona then started giving us attitude again saying what attitude is she giving us.. And was raising her voice abut Richard did not reprimand her he let her speak to us rudely again I'm not surprised you as he as I said didn't look interested in the matter from the start . Again the staff have a lack of people skills then we now opens our food the my chicken had no extra basting as asked for wen we placed the order and my finances chicken strips n spicy rice was so dry no flavor.. Very disserpointing customer service . Staff clearly need people skills development.. To be honest I will not go to the nandos Florida road branch ever again.. I will rather support Galitos Game city. We had a bad experience at nandos Springfield awhile back with our order and we stopped buying from nandos however today due to the cold weather and nandos Florida Rd is close to home we decided to get nandos but will never make that mistake again.I rather drive to Galitos game city and get quality food and service with a smile.I forgot to add that shona was also interrupting my fiance while she was speaking and...

My family and I arrived at Nando’s at 9:40 PM, well before their posted closing time of 10 PM, only to be rudely informed by the lady at the counter that she wouldn’t take our order because we wanted to dine in. Fine, we get that dining in might run past 10 PM. But when we offered to take out instead, she flat-out refused again. Even after asking her to confirm with her manager, the response was still a baffling “no.”
Here’s where it gets infuriating: while we were being turned away, other customers behind us in the queue had their orders taken without issue—some even for dine-in on the outdoor benches! How is that remotely fair or acceptable? It’s outrageous to see an establishment so blatantly pick and choose who they’ll serve.
We ended up going to RocoMamas, who also closed at 10 PM. The difference? They welcomed us, accommodated our order, and let us dine in as long as we ordered before closing. If they could manage that level of service, why couldn’t Nando’s?
This is blatant favoritism and an insult to paying customers. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Being told “no” when we arrived 20 minutes before closing is bad enough, but watching others being served right after us is beyond unacceptable. Read moreI placed my order telephonically at 16.30 for collection at 18.15. I got to the outlet at 17.57. I waited in the queue for approximately 10 minutes. I was 1 st person in the queue to collect orders. The cashier was attending to someone else's order. Eventually she noticed my presence. They couldn't find my order. When they finally located the order to find that only the 2 chicken pitas were ready. Then they didn't have my halloumi pita ready. The wedges were not ready either. It seemed like everyone was lost. The abupt, curt order taker was unsure of herself and suddenly became all apologetic. I was then able to match voice to face. This was the person who had taken my order telephonically. I had to be at medical appointment at 19H00. It was 18.35, I still at Nandos waiting for incompetent order taker cum cashier to give me my hour. This is bad service. Businesses are opened to serve consumer needs. Somehow it's a concept is incomprehensible to South African employees. That being said in the beverage, hotel and food service industry there is no excuse for bad service. Franchising provides the manual... So there is no excuse to falter...
