Super Burger — Restaurant in Windermere

We visited Super Burger on Saturday the 19 August 2023. This is the second time we have eaten at Super Burger. As a BIG hamburger fan, I was looking forward to trying the burgers in this specialty burger venue.

The menus came quickly and the various options were well explained by the waiter. We placed our orders and even though this should have been a family experience - the meals came out one at a time. There was probably nearly a 25-minute delay between the first person getting their meal and the last person's food coming out. One of the meals, which consisted of 3 sides and a burger and came out separately. The burger came out about 15 minutes after the sides were served. They did add crisps to the burger to apologize for the inconvenience. The waiter was friendly, but the service was way below par.

The food was not too bad. Two of the boys ordered the 'Big Texas' option which they said was the best burger they have ever eaten. It did look like a great meal! The 'Cheeseboy' with sides was small, but this could be expected as this was a kids' burger option. The 'Classic Burger' and the 'Cheese Burger' we both 'okay burgers', without being amazing. They were a decent size and I would eat them without too many complaints in the future. The burgers were all cooked medium rare, which I was happy with, but it may be good to ask customers their preferences. The chips were a big letdown - they tasted like freezer chips. I don't know if they were freshly cut, but it didn't taste like it.

Overall, it was an underwhelming experience. Would I try them again? I probably would, but hopefully there would be some improvements on...

We arrived at the restaurant to find the waiters packing chair which I assume where from previous guests and when we asked to be seated the waiter just pointed us to a dirty table with plates and glasses, we decided to go find ourselves a clean table unaccompanied and we sat down. The we were given menus and a male waiter came to take our drinks orders my sister and I both ordered passion fruit and lemonade and stated no ice. A female waiter brought our drinks but with ice . When we told her we had requested no ice she simply said we'll u didn't order from me and stood there asking us to order our main meals, I proceeded to request her to remove the ice from our drinks after several requests she got annoyed and went to the kitchen to get a spoon to remove. Now I was already passed off by this attitude. We ordered starters of Nachos and the burgers with cheese sauce. I requested the waiter to bring the nachos first since they are startes. The nachos had a very horrible after taste and a minute after they hit the table we saw the waiter coming with our mains. In short the food was horrible service was horandous and overall experience horrible will.never recommend anyone go here. The place was also dirty Plates from previous diners left there on the table. Im disappointed to post a poor review. Ive purchased food twice before and it was delicious. Last night I purchased burgers for my family and whilst eating my chicken burger; I bit on a bone that was left if the crumbed chicken burger which hurt my front teeth and left me with a tooth ache; I was disappointed and immediately called the store to complain, the person that responded said the manager would contact me tomorrow and now I'm more disappointed that a manager has not called to apologize; I waited 24 hours and now I'm posting a poor review.

Part 2: post my review; the manager calls to apologize and the proceeds to blame the supplier and offers to comp me a packet of fries on my next order. It's a case of too little to late.
