Beer. Good beer. Craft beer. Is there more that needs to be said? Perhaps not, but here I go regardless. Craft brewing has definitely listed the beer fame of most cities and when you are a tourist, in a tourist town doing tourist things, it can be a challenge to find anything other that a bottled or draft local standard. Happily this current era, for all its pitfalls has issued forth a delightful trend of young creative people who like to make nice things. As a Gen-X who had to make do with the basics I appreciate their thoughtful creativity and dedication to making things that all of us can enjoy.

Read moreThe Galmegi Brewing bar is situated off the main strip of Haeundae, we were visiting on a recommendation from a friend. Korean beer is at best weak and tasteless so the prospect of visiting a proper craft brewery was welcoming.
Up a flight of stairs the bar overlooks the street which affords some people watching below, however the windows do not open and the glass was very dirty.
