This is the second "since 1962" from Gunam-ro street, it is open 24 hours. I ordered beef soup with noodles and it was not good. Plain bullion, strange beef, noodles were good though. Each table has 3 side dish containers that tasted alright, nothing to write home about. The place seems to be popular but I'm not sure it is due to the taste or price (8500 for soup). I suspect the second. I also suspect it could be good hangover food.

This dish is a must have for a cold day!! The soup made it a very hearty meal and the owners were very friendly in providing a menu in English as the entire shop was filled with only Korean words! You know the place is good when it’s filled with mostly locals! :) Tried the beef soup with rice in it and it was only 7000 won! The side dishes are free flow and you can refill them from your own table!

Hmm before I went there, I was so curious how taste so nice. After I check most of comments, I decided to go there and take 소고기국밥 as lunch. The price was little lower than others. But the taste was also not that great. Just okay. I was sure 58 years of history of restaurant but I was so greedy. If you wanna take it as lunch, how about looking for another food instead of here? Enjoy it:)

The beef here is really tender and melts in your mouth. Furthermore, it goes well with the soup. The noodles might be on the softer side but still goes well with the beef soup. The beef soup is light and flavour food but I believe the oxblood soup would be a lot more heavier-tasting. The soup comes with either the choice of noodles or rice and the rice can be mixed into or separated from the soup. Overall it is not bad and I would...
