핸즈커피 동성로데오점 — Restaurant in Daegu

Located in the middle of a popular shopping district. Specifically it's near phone street. But the traditional shopping districts are fading away into mixed markets. A lot of the new cafes and shops intentionally mimic the repurposed building style. Nice wooden tables and leather chairs on bare concrete floors with exposed beam ceilings. Few chairs match the same style. But Hands Coffee is a franchise and it's artificial. That said they do it well and they offer a pretty good cup of coffee for a reasonable price. The interior is nice and comfortable and the service is friendly. There's a small garden and ample seating inside or on the second floor. There's even a small bar.

When you entered, you are welcomed wholeheartedly. The service was good, the lady spoke both Korean and english. I had the banana choco waffle and I usually do not like waffles, but this was the best I ever had eaten. It was so delicious so I most definitely recommend this place! 많이 돌아다녀서 지친 와중에 카페 외관이 예뻐서 들어가 봤어요. 빈스빈스 스타일 와플도 판매하고 있어요.

밖에서 본 예상 크기보다 카페가 커요.

1층은 신발 벗고 앉는 자리도 있어요. 2층도 아늑하고 괜찮아 보였는데, 3층인 관람차 전망이 가능한 실내 공간이라니 안 가볼 수가 있나!

1층과 2층은 전체적으로 나무색이라 아늑한 분위기였는데 3층은 흰색이 많아서 더 깔끔했어요.

관람차 전망은 조금 실망스러웠지만 밤에 보면 예쁠 거 같기도 했어요. 어쨌든 3층에 자리를 잡았어요.

아무도 커피를 시키지 않았죠. 굳이 하자면 제가 시킨 게 모카니까 커피가 들어있긴 하네요.

하겐다즈 모카 쉐이크(6,800원)는 하겐다즈 아이스크림으로 만든 밀크쉐이크에 커피라니 맛있을 줄 알았는데, 아니면 예쁘기라도 하던가. 둘 다 아니었어요.

페스트푸드점에서 먹는 밀크쉐이크랑 큰 차이를 못 느끼겠어요. 커피는 조금 들어있어서 맛에 큰 영향을 주지 않았어요.

아몬드 밀크티 멜랑슈(6,500원)는 이게 뭘까 싶은 맛이었고 무농약 오미자차 아이스(5,800원)은 홍초 물에 탄 맛이랄까?

이렇게까지 모두 실패한 건 또 처음이라 아주 인상 깊은 카페였죠....
