제주댁 — Restaurant in Jeju

Wanted to finally end our unintended extra days in Jeju, I looked for a traditional Korean restaurant nearby our hotel and found Jejudaek. As we entered, I had doubt when it was empty and we were the only diners.

However, the pictures of famous Korean (I assumed but I didn't know most of them) plastered on the wall together with signatures gave a bit of reassurance. Then I spotted Son Heung-Min picture as well and I was relieved.

Service was not bad but not friendly either and I just wanted to finish my dinner as soon as possible after whole day outside. Grilled tilefish had sweet taste to its meat and seaweed soup plus rice made out to be a simple yet delicious combo; the boiled pork belly was good with its condiments; seafood stew was comforting and brimming with sweetness from the various seafood; and the banchan while simple, were on point as well.

옥돔구이+성게미역국 (25,000원) & 전복뚝배기 (15,000원) 기갹대비하여 성의 없는 음식과 분주하고 정신없는 서비스가 엉망입니다. 성게 미역국에 성게는 사진에 보이는 것이 전부인데 반그릇 줍니다. 그냥 미역국을 차라리 주는것이 더 좋지 않을까요 이 마저도 밥을 다 먹어갈 때 직원이 잊고 있던 걸 달래서 받았어요. 반찬도 성의도 맛도 없어요. 겨우 세 테이블에도 정신없는 식당. 맛도 서비스도 가격도...

#갈치조림 #성게미역국 이 근처에서 머 먹을지 고민하다가 식당이 깔끔해보이고 앞에 유명 연예인도 많이 들린거 같은 싸인이 있어서 들어 가 봤습니다. 옥돔구이 정식 먹을지 고등어 조림 먹을지 갈치 조림 먹을지 고민 좀 하다가 갈치 조림 먹었습니다. 주방장님이 요리를 잘하시네요. 갈치조림이 간도 딱이고 달짠달짠 맛있네요. 비쥬얼고 좋습니다. 다음번에 들러서 다른메뉴도 먹어봐야겠습니다....
