ORDERED: 🐖 Black pork neck + Black pork belly 600g (66,000₩ / $72.74AUD) 🍜 Instant noodles
REVIEW: They do provide drinks for a 5 star review 👀 but I'm reviewing after the fact so I'm not bought out. 😂
Easy to walk in for an early dinner at 5:30pm. Although the menu has some English elements, being able to read and communicate in Chinese is far more helpful. The seats aren't attached from the top so you can store your nice jackets and bags inside to avoid the smoky smell. 🚭
🔥 In terms of food quality: It's definitely worth trying the famous Jeju pork! However, I found that in Melbourne we have 3 day dry aged pork (Stubborn Pig) which in my opinion tastes better. 88 Pork's instant noodles is delicious because there's a sweet undercurrent of seafood that comes through. Yummm. ❤ The free steamed eggs that everyone's raving about was great!!
👍 Service was great. We had our waiter cut and cook our meat to perfection, with some elements of the pork belly we finished ourselves. There's a couple of Jeju black pork places in the area. This is a great option if you're travelling with someone Chinese/willing to use the...
Read moreKorean black pork BBQ dinner. The black pork neck and belly (600gm in total) came in lightly seared thick slabs unlike thin slices at most places, then cut into small pieces & BBQed by one of the staff. Both pork neck and belly were tender and juicy. The pork belly was sinful but delicious. My cardiologist said must eat the black pork in Jeju and I'm following his orders 😂. However, we did trimmed off most of the fat before eating 😁. The steamed egg in hot pot was fluffy and delicious, it was part of the the set.
The banchan goes well to reduce greasy feeling from the fatty pork belly.
For carbs, we ordered instant noodles & iced buckwheat noodles in diluted beef gravy. The iced noodles is slightly sour and refreshing after the BBQ pork.
Staff are efficient with the food served quickly. There was language barrier but they tried their best.

Read moreFood is mediocre at best, ordered black pork belly + neck set (600g for 66k won), nothing amazing about it.
Was served by a Chinese lady and was told by her to cook the meat myself. However, later came a group of Singaporeans, which got a different treatment of her to provide the actual service. Be it that the customer is Singaporean, Korean or Chinese nationalities, she as a service personnel should not show preferential treatment.
The only plus point for this shop compared to others is probably the few food stores that are open past midnight.
