The restaurant was a little tricky for me to find. Naver was taking me in circles, but I realized it was the yellow place on the second floor right above the Triple Store, just behind the bus stop.
The food was delicious (I got the Aloo Govi and Garlic Naan). It was made to order, perfect amount of spice, and rich in flavor. It was a bit overpriced for the serving size, but it was worth it honestly. They did give me a lot of naan too.
They have vegetarian options if you need that and the menu is in Korean and English. This place is NOT wheelchair-accessible at all.
The service could have been better. The young man they had serving was mostly on his phone, and I had to call him a couple of times to get his attention. The music was okay. I didn’t think it really went with the ambiance though. And halfway through my meal it just cut off and after several minutes I finally asked them to turn it back on, which they did.
The space was nice also. It had kind of a vintage vibe to it with the wooden flooring and walls. Plenty of natural lighting and a great view if you sit by the window.
I think the staff kind of seemed like they didn’t want to be there which was kind of bringing down the mood, but overall it was...
Read moreOur experience at Rajmahal was incredibly disappointing. From the moment we stepped in, the server's attitude was outright rude and unwelcoming. It felt like he was serving us reluctantly, and at one point, he even scolded our kids to be quiet – despite the restaurant being almost empty.
The service was careless; instead of properly serving, the server simply plopped the plates down on the table with no regard for basic hospitality. As for the food, it was mediocre and overpriced, certainly not worth what they charge.
What made the situation even worse was the blatant difference in service quality. We saw North Indian guests and white patrons being treated much better, with attentive and polite service, all right in front of us. This made the entire experience feel not only unpleasant but also discriminatory.
I wouldn't recommend Rajmahal – there are plenty of other restaurants that offer better food and, more importantly, treat all their customers...
Read moreIts a MUST NOT VISIT RESTAURANT, terrible food, pathetic quality and premium pricing for absolutely no reason. Even a kid can make chatpat better , they spoiled even the chatpat by adding wasabi. It was horrible and we left it. Their attitude while serving the food made us want to leave the restaurant right away, but we were hungry and my frnd was vegetarian so we had to stay. We got our mood spoiled there, later got food poisoning as well. As we are all tourist, this restaurant deliberately robbing us and giving cheap quality food. Do not visit here just for the sake of it being the only indian restaurant here, YOU WILL REGRET IT. I can assure the positive reviews you see here are mostly the...
