The Best (#1) Korean vegan food I have had!! I have eaten in many vegan Korean restaurants but this one was hands down the very best. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The place is a little tricky to find. While it's on the 1st floor (1F), the entrance is on the right side of the main building. There is also a back entrance. Keep looking until you find it, it is worth it.
Run by a beautiful and kind woman, Kim Yun Hi, she makes beautiful and delicious food.
The menu is simple, 2 options: Vegan bibimbap Clear Tofu soup
Both come with spicy tofu soup, hot tea, and amazing kimchi sides.
I ordered the Bibimbap and I'm so glad I did. Really fresh and flavorful ingredients. The mixed greens were fresh and varied...had ample mint leaves that sent the flavors through the roof. Also had mushrooms, fermented leaves, carrots, purple cabbage, bean sprouts, cucumbers and Korean spinach salad. 12,000 won I tried to tip her but she refused 🥰
Kimchi sides were out of this world: -Lotus root with sprouts -Creamy Cauliflower -Cabbage kimchi -Pickled sweet-savory celery
Came with a fresh green salad with an orange-ginger-sesame dressing And Purple cabbage pancakes pan-seared to perfection.
I literally died and and went to food heaven while eating this meal. 😋👼❤️
Even if you're not vegan, I highly recommend this place. Kim Yun Hi is a master in the kitchen and she excels at making her food with love and good energies. 💜🧡💚💙💛🌱

Read moreTheir kimchi is NOT vegan. Has fish sauce in. You can tell them that you are vegan and they will only give you vegan side dishes. If you don’t like seaweed tell them in advance so that they don’t bring out side dishes with seaweed. They only have three menu of which we tried two (soft tofu soup and perilla seed sujebi (wheat dough in creamy soup?) and they were all really good! It might taste bland kn the beginning since it’s not salted strongly but the tofu and perilla seed taste was deep and flavorful. All their side dishes were tasty too! Will try their bibimbap next time. Bibibap also seem to come with a side of mini sujebi. Oh the sujebi has seaweed (wakame) in but doesn’t taste that strong.
The place might be difficult since it doesn’t have a sign outside to find but trust the map and go into the building and the place is on the ground floor, back of the building next to the bathrooms. It’s a tiny place and can be busy around noon.
Read moreThis local restaurant brings vegetarian food to another level! Operated by two sister-like ladies, visited by the working locals. The owners don’t speak English but we were able to order with some images and with the help of other English speaking customers. Located in the building behind the bank. Price are standard considering the quality of food served.
We were there for lunch in a hot summer, and felt so relief after finishing all the mains and side dishes we ordered, yes all!! The owners are so generous of their specialty side dishes- especially the red pancake slices and honeydew salad.
Mains we ordered- heat relieving smashed tofu soup with rice (there is something special added into the rice not sure what is it called); green tea soup with flour slices (the concept is similar to “hakka lui cha pan mee”) Side dishes- red pancakes, honeydew capsicum salad, hallabong juice lettuce salad, pumpkin cube, kimchi, pickled leave with onion. There are other mains available, like bimbimbap.
Another exciting point about the restaurant is they served with gold crockeries, just like the empire...
