A Cozy Hidden Bakery Gem with Heartwarming Vibes
This small local bakery feels like stepping into someoneโs warm, welcoming kitchen. The owner personally prepares and serves each item with care, and you can feel the passion in every detailโfrom the display of freshly baked goods to the aroma of coffee in the air.
What I tried:
Croissant topped with egg and double cheese: Buttery, flaky layers with a crisp bite. The melted cheese and perfectly set egg on top added a savory richness that paired beautifully with the iced Americano.
Almond Raspberry Croissant (โฉ5,000): Generously coated with sliced almonds and powdered sugar. The pastry was crunchy on the outside, soft inside, and had a subtle raspberry filling that gave it a nice tart twist. Loved the balance of texture and flavor.
Atmosphere: Simple yet charming interior. The open counter lets you watch the baker at work, adding a personal touch. Itโs a quiet spot, perfect for a peaceful coffee break or a solo pastry moment.
What I loved:
High-quality pastries at a reasonable price
Smooth, aromatic coffee
Friendly and down-to-earth service
A real โneighborhood bakeryโ feel
Good to know: Limited seating, so best for takeout or a quick sit-down...

My favorite was the cube-shaped Danish. Iโve never has anything like it - instead of the Danish I see in America, which is flat and circular or triangular, this one is cube shaped without fruit or frosting. Make sure to request to get it cut. There are 4 delicate super thin custard-like layers in it that add a very gentle sweetness. The outside is somehow laminated and flaky as well. I was so delighted!!
We also ordered the classic croissant and pain au Swiss. Canโt go wrong with either one!
Make sure to also order an americano or...

Iโm so glad instead of visiting London bagel museum I visited this cafe. Truly a gem! I ate a Laugen (pretzel) croissant which the shop owner recommended and it turned out to be the best croissants I have ever eaten. Super flaky on the outside and the dough soft and chewy on the inside. The owner was also very friendly and nice to talk to. I can tell he takes great pride in his business and really enjoys...
