Great spot! After visiting Seoul and a few nights of eating out at Korean BBQ, I was craving a burger for a change. It was a toss up b/w this and another one right by our hotel, and I'm SO glad I picked Bas! Entrance had me feeling a little like I was in the Matrix, just a big door with a sign that said Open on it. Took a deep breath, not knowing what to expect, and went on in. Completely not what I was expecting on the other side! Owner was at the till and couldn't have been nicer. Spoke great English, we had a nice talk, and his service was excellent! I dined in and had a DELICIOUS pint of stout and a super tasty double burger with cheese. Fries were hot and perfect, multiple choices of dips. Funky atmosphere inside and it got busy quickly. I had pre-ordered food to take back to the wife in the hotel and it was hot and ready as promised when it was time to go. Totally satisfied my craving, definitely check it out if you're in the area and wanting a...
ย ย ย Read moreWow! What a pleasant experience and a great hamburger. I'm a little unusual in my eating preferences because I try to avoid eating bread. It's a ketogenic eating style.
So, I ordered my cheeseburger without a bun. In the meantime, they have complimentary potato chips at your table as an appetizer, and they are premium quality chips sort of like Kettle Chips brand from Oregon. Delicious.
The cheeseburger itself was the best I've ever had in Korea, so delicious. And then, when I was finished, I had a sample of their IPA beer which is also complimentary. I prefer not to drink a whole beer for weight control reasons, so the smaller sample size cup was big enough for me, and such a delicious beer. ;)
I was in search of a great hamburger and I found one with many pleasant extras. A couple of things that could make the experience even better: 1) lighting that is a little brighter, 2) hot sauce. Many westerners like to put hot sauce on...
ย ย ย Read moreThis Burger suucked! After 2 weeks eating Korean food we were dying for an American Burger. This is not it! The beef patty was thin & we couldn't even taste it. The bun was a Bao bun and started to fall apart from the moisture of the tomato & lettuce. The onion rings were previously frozen & not hand dipped. Pass on those if you like onion rings. The fries were great though & tasted just like in & out burger. The only thing is the ketchup is sweet & did not complement the fries at all. The mayonnaise too was sweet & did not taste like mayonnaise. The burger overall is tiny compared to the picture. It's an Asian size burger not an American sized Monster Burger even though they make you think that's what you'll be getting when you look at the menu. Everything is self serve & the tables to sit at are too narrow to sit comfortably across from your friends & not accidently...
