It’s a decent dining place with great presentation. High quality rice. Rice of the month is featured which shows how much they care about the taste of rice.

The appetizer was very nice. The seafood was fresh. Pricey but fresh. The eel was nice too. One of the better ones in Seoul.

But this time I was quite disappointed by their drinks recommendation. The best selling one? Really???? It was too much for three of us and expensive. And it gave me some headache. Next time if I go back, I won’t ask for recommendation.

The chicken dish was another disappointment. Didn’t taste fresh. Also the sauce didn’t pair well so as the garnish.

Another disappointment came from dessert. The sugar layer of cream brûlée was too thick. Didn’t pair well with honey glazed doraji.

Don’t get me wrong. They were okay .. but not great; so I was disappointed. I expect more because this place can do better with the price range.

Lastly but not least, i hope they replace the toilet paper holder as it is so loose. I am worried about the toilet paper whenever I use it as it could have fallen...

We got the seat right before the frying stove and we smelled like the fried beef after we left the restaurant. The food presentation was pretty but unfortunately the taste was very mediocre. We had the tasting menu and the dishes felt like an amalgam of Chinese and Japanese cuisine with Korean side dishes. Overrated and...

가격이 다소 비쌈. 요즘 대체적으로 가격이 비싸도 분위기, 서비스, 맛이 만족감을 주면 비싸다는 단어를 쓰지 않는데, 식사 후 처음 든 생각은 이 가격대가 함당한가... 였음. 처음에 기본 반찬으로 마늘쫑, 콜리플라워, 백김치를 주는데 다 절임 음식이라 곁들여 먹는 반찬의 느낌보다는 파스타집에서 나오는 피클 느낌 이었다. 그 후에 장어랑 회메뉴가 나왔는데 정말 딱 큰 성인남성 주먹만한 그릇에 밥, 그 위에 계란찜, 그 위에 장어 그거 하나. 손바닥만한 접시에 회. 그거 한 접시... 다소 당황스러웠음.

맛 장어계란덮밥 장어 구우면 맛있다. 계란찜 계란맛. 밥은 뭔가 전복 내장 색상의 밥이긴 했는데 특유의 감칠맛이 느껴지거나, 밥에 찰기도 없고(이건 쌀의 종류에 따라 다를 수 있긴하지만) 그냥 색 들어간 밥 느낌. 그냥 장어와 계란 그리고 밥이지 세 조합이 모여 감칠맛을 주는 것은 없었다.

바다내음?(회 메뉴) 회 하나하나 질은 괜찮고 성게알도 들어가고 신선한 회.

한우 스지탕 이것이 정말 대박이었는데, 국물은 심각하게 달고 짜다. 그 안에 스지(도가니)가 있어야하는데 고기 조금이랑 아주 약간 뭔가가 달린 건더기 4개 정도 있고 나머진 고기인지 양념인지 모르는 부스러기만 남았다. 스지탕을 기존에 먹어보지 않았다면 이게 원래 그런가보다 했을텐데, 국물맛도 달고 짜고 건더기도 없고 이게 뭔가 싶었다.

남녀 둘이가서 메뉴 3개를 시켰음에도 헛헛한 느낌 =ㅅ=; 가게 느낌은 뭐 인스타 감성이니 뭐니 할 수 있을 것 같긴하고, 주방도 오픈한지 얼마 안되서 깨끗한 오픈형이긴 한데 저에겐 와닿지않았습니다.

그 외 오픈형 주방인지라 다른 테이블의 항정살 강정 메뉴가 준비되는 과정을 봤는데 가려진 안쪽 공간에서 냄비에 이미 조리되서 양념까지 다 묻어있는 강정 요리를 담아와서 불에 데워주고 끝. 맛은 보지않아 식감이 어떠할지 모르지만, 기본적으로 조리 후 양념까지 다 발라놓은 요리를 데펴만 주는데 강정의 식감이나 맛이 살아있을지 의문.
