Geolgune Wang Gobchang — Restaurant in Seoul

Ridiculously horrid service. Avoid like the plague, especially if you are a tourist. We asked if there were beef options because of food restrictions, and one of the staff said yes. When we were seated, there was no beef found anywhere on the limited menu. The older lady who served us looked incredibly annoyed and put the menu very close to our face while repeatedly pointing at it, telling us to order the pork. She couldn't speak English at all. When we asked if there was chicken, she said no. Later I heard her tell the manager about our request in a joking manner, and then told other customers, who kept laughing and glancing at our table while mimicking our request.

The food was sub-par, with a depressing atmosphere. The best thing there are the bean sprouts you get for free.

Only go if you want to be bullied...

I'm not usually one to eat pork at all but, when in Korea, you live a little. I actually finished my serving before even thinking about a picture. My son and I had helpful staff. We ordered pork belly and ribs. Being from Texas, the ribs were impressive!. There's just no taste better than the banchan with meat wrapped in a perilla leaf with ssamjang....
