Please note that Iโ€™m writing this review focusing on the late night version of the place. This place is a noodle restaurant until 8 pm, but is another bar restaurant from 8 pm until midnight (they sometimes stay open until 1 am). I donโ€™t speak Korean, so I asked the master for recommendations. He asked me about my preferences and suggested the pairing of red bean paste spring rolls (Picture 2) and highball with Chinese baijiu (Pictures 1-3), which according to the master, very popular in Korea these days. As their card reader was not functioning, I told how much cash I had left, and accordingly, the master made another scotch highball with earl gray flavor (Pictures 4-5), and added the complementary crackers too (Picture 4)! The crackers as well as the starter (Picture 1) were free of charge, and everything was nice and reasonably priced. I highly recommended it :)

Good flavour but a bit heavy on the oil personally. Small, clean Japanese ramen shop like vibe. Wouldn't queue for this but may come for a late lunch and order an egg to go with the dandan noodles (on this visit, shared a rice with a friend to mix in with the left over sauce). One thing, the staff were borderline unprofessional/unfriendly which is fine in some loud big restaurant but didn't really fit the concept of this place (heavy sighs when a customer came in 20mins before break time, forgot one of our side orders but looked annoyed when we reminded them about it). I'd like to think they were having a bad day but several Korean reviews on naver also comment on the staff behaviour.

Around 7 people was waiting infront of restaurant almost 10 minute even no customer inside and it not a break time ether. Inside have only 8 seats available. The Tan Tan Noodles if you can't take any spicy you can ask them to not spicy at all, this shop have only one menu. And you can pay extra for hot spring egg, fried onion with stream rice or extra spicy. Also can add extra topping meat, seasoned or shredded green onion each adding have to pay 1,000โ‚ฉ. Noodles portion is a lot add the sauce and seasoning one buy one you will enjoy more different taste. Service not really good and cleanliness was averages.

A Dandan noodle(ๆ‹…ๆ‹…้บบ) restaurant located near Myeongdong Station. This place calls the dish 'tantanmen', which is a name in Japanese. Their Tantanmen has got it's idea from Japanese version of the Dandan noodle, but unlike Japanese version of the noodle, their noodle is dry. Selected as 'Bib gourmet' from the guide du micheline. The chef Jung Chang Wook, is a famous chef and he makes the noodles himself. The noodle costs 12,000 won and you MUST add Onsen Tamago, which makes total price 13,000 won. Quite expensive for a bowl of noodle, but the delicate taste makes it worth it. Since there are only 8 seats in the restaurant, you might have to wait for...
