Gourmet Lamb Samseong — Restaurant in Seoul

Had dinner here twice and one take out during our stay at Hotel Uri&. It is 25 steps from the entrance of the Hotel Uri&.

The meat is exported from Australia and it is certified halal from an Australian authority (see accompanying photos).

We really enjoyed the sirlion steak and the lamb rack. The accompanying pickled veggies are just right. They are fresh, crunchy and so different from those we get back home.

The meat is cooked front of us on a grill. The server cooked our meat well and attended to our young children as well. He taught us how to best eat the dishes, meat and veggies. He even taught our children how to roll the rice into the seaweed provided and dip it into the sauce before enjoy a tiny seaweed filled with rice.

After cooking the meat, he cut the meat into smaller bite size pieces. He even cut it into smaller pieces for the children.

Finally, he cooked the pumpkins and bean sprouts for us to wrap up our beautiful meal with.

We also had the lamb stew as a side and its delicious. It is tiny bit spicy but it is really nice with rice.

Really enjoyed our experience with multiple servers attending to us well. They were so nice and friendly. Our children really enjoyed themselves and cant stop raving how much they enjoyed themselves, how friendly the servers are, how they were attended to well and how delicious the food is.

Due to a great exhaust pipe above the grill, our clothes did not smell at all after the meal.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Gourmet Lamb Samseong, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was out of this world. Despite having to wait over 30 minutes to be seated because we didn’t make a reservation, the staff went above and beyond to make our wait comfortable. One of the managers at the bar even brought us some ice cream, which was a delightful touch and truly showcased their commitment to excellent customer service. The ambiance of the restaurant is sophisticated and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. We enjoyed our dining experience so much that we are already planning to return for dinner today. This restaurant finally gave me the feeling that I truly tried Korean cuisine. The food was wonderful, full of flavor, and the service was beyond excellent. The chef was especially helpful, guiding me through how to enjoy the different sauces and sides that come with the dishes. I highly recommend this place. The only challenge was finding it, since it’s located on the second floor of a building, which made it a bit tricky to track down.
