Mano Di Chef, Samseong — Restaurant in Seoul

A really enjoyable time dining here. The good is excellent and the staff was friendly. They speak some English too but may struggle a bit.

The garlic bread was the best I had, rich creamy garlic butter on top of the soft crispy baguette.

The salad was refreshing, the avocado was creamy and the shrimp was fat and juicy.

The pizza crust was thin and crunchy with a slight sweet taste to it.

The gnocchi was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The lightly seared scallops was sweet and juicy. The carrot sauce was really creamy and not too heavy.

The steak was good, well...

This underground cellar is quite large and amosphere is good even there is no windows. Service is their strong point.

I had beef with salad. Salad was ok. Beef was really good but Italian size not American size. Wine was average Chilean.

I think this place is good for business dinner but price/quality only average. I have seen many similar restaurants in Seoul. If you take your wife or gf out for romantic Italian dinner, I would recommend...

Walk down the steps to this unassuming place but be prepared to be delighted by the food and service. The ever friendly and efficient staff had placed menus in English which made it much easier to order. Had the pasta which was really creamy and rich.
