After thirteen long years of anticipation, the original crew of Wicked finally came to Korea, and watching their performance was nothing short of magical. The energy, talent, and storytelling left me in awe—I couldn’t have asked for a better theater experience. And what pairs more perfectly with a phenomenal musical than a memorable meal afterward?
I decided to dine at a restaurant that had recently relocated, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The new space looks more refined and elegant than ever, striking the right balance between modern sophistication and warm comfort. From start to finish, the experience was excellent—attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and dishes that impressed with both flavor and presentation.
The meal began with creamy, well-seasoned hummus that was smooth yet rich, followed by tender and flavorful lamb steak cooked to perfection. The freshly baked naan was the perfect complement, soft with just the right hint of char. Every bite reflected quality and care, making the dinner just as memorable as the musical itself.
A fantastic performance and an equally fantastic dining experience—truly an evening...
Read moreThe service was very harried and stressed, but they did their best to be kind to customers. However, everyone's food came out extremely late and some other tables were sitting with no food and appetizers for over 30 minutes. Waiters kept dropping things and kept yelling at the kitchen to hurry up with the orders, but they tried. They really did.
We got the hummus platter, garlic pita, chicken, and lamb chops. Everything on the hummus platter was weirdly sweet and not at all like traditional hummus. The brick-oven baked garlic pita bread was really nice, but if you're coming here for authentic hummus, don't come at all. The lamb is halal meat, shipped from Australia. It was chewy, but the flavor was alright. The best dish in my opinion was the one that came out the latest, which was the chicken and roasted veg. The meat was grilled and seasoned perfectly, and the vegetables were delicious as well.
Overall, if the service was improved and the workers were properly trained, the whole experience would've been better. And the hummus!...
