Stumbled upon this place and so glad we did because it was my favorite meal in Seoul. It was just a short walk from Gyeongbokgung Palace so if you're touring around that area GO HERE!!! The food was amazing! The owner brought us a complimentary dish for us to try and explained what it was (i'm blanking now because it was back in September '19). Honestly great place, would recommend to anyone!

This place is affordable, delicious, vegetarian-friendly. You must order 들기름 막국수(buckwheat noodle with sesame oil)! I also ordered 메밀전병(buckwheat wrap filled with kimchi stuffings) and 감자전(potato pancakes) you might have to wait in line if you visit on weekends, but for me it was worth the wait. Also, they have maggeoli samplers. They have sweet/non-sweet options depending on your taste.

Theu were fine enough for me. I mean, I went there becauae of my American friend who apparently really liked this kind of place, but I am not a big fan of this kind of meal. I also tried their traditional Korean alcohol beverage set menu but I wasnt able to finish them all.

I believe that when you travel, you will get a real experience of the culture of the place you are visiting by trying their food. This is my third time in Seoul and I always visit this place everytime I am here. This place very is popular for their buckwheat noodles and no doubt on that! It has been featured many times in some popular food shows in the major TV networks in Korea. Recently, the US Ambassador to South Korea visited the place and enjoyed the food and place a lot. Trying their food is a must while you are in Seoul. I highly recommend their mouth-watering buckwheat noodles, which is perfect for this season! The sliced pork with citron sauce and chives is a perfect combination. Oh, don't forget their traditional wines! There are a lot more in the menu so let your tastebuds decide!
