As a Singaporean, I can attest that the taste of the food here is no different from that of Jumbo in Singapore. The star of Jumbo is chili crab, and the dish that was served to me had a spicy flavourful sauce generously coating a succulent mud crab. I also recommend the cereal prawn and sambal kangkong. The staff here provided excellent service - they refilled our water promptly, provided us with extra wet wipes and utensils when they noticed us needing it. The only one downside was the fried mantou. It is supposed to be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. However, what was served here had a very tough external layer, and it was too difficult to chew. I have left a feedback about this and hope they can make some changes, as fried mantou is a very essential pairing to chilli crab.

기대가 컸던 만큼 아쉬움도 컸던 곳입니다. 다양한 메뉴가 준비되어 있긴 하지만, 전체적으로 음식의 퀄리티가 기대 이하여서 식사 내내 ‘다른 곳에서 먹을 걸 그랬나’ 하는 생각이 계속 들었습니다. 특히 크랩을 메인으로 생각하고 갔는데, 크랩이라는 걸 감안하더라도 이 가격대에서 기대할 수 있는 만족감을 주지는 못했던 것 같아요. 크랩이니까 ‘그래도 먹을 만하겠지’ 하면서 먹긴 했지만, 솔직히 다시 찾고 싶은 마음은 들지 않네요. 크랩 외의 다른 음식들도 뭔가 정성이 느껴지지 않는, 그냥 기본만 맞춰 놓은 듯한 느낌이었습니다. 특별히 맛깔스럽다거나 신경을 많이 쓴 인상을 받지는 못했어요. 음식 하나하나에 기대가 있었는데, 그 기대에 비해선 다소 실망스러웠습니다. 이 가격이라면 차라리 다른 곳을 선택하는 게 더 낫지 않았을까 하는 생각이 계속 들었어요. 전체적으로 만족스럽지 않은 경험이어서 개인적으로는 추천하기가 어렵네요.

싱가포르에서 점보를 다녀온 적이 있고, 수년 전 강남에 오픈했을 때 초기에 방문한 이후 강남점이 없아져서 서운했는데, 오랫만에 방문한 IFC 몰에 입점하여 있어 반가운 마음에 방문. 인테리어도 싱가포르 점보와 유사해서 싱가포르 여행의 기억도 떠올리게 해주었다. 마침 던저니스 크랩도 있다고 하여 주문함. 시가가 상당히 높고, 1 킬로그램 안팎의 게를 준비하고 있는 것 같았다. 칠리 크랩은 스탠다드가 흔들리지 않고 맛이있었으나 크랩 주문시 제공되는 샐러드나 만토우의 온도나 갯수는 좀 아쉬웠다. 시가로 판매하는 음식에 더해지는 후한 서비스에 익숙한 한국 정서로는 아무래도 음식 가격이 더 높게 느껴질 수 있는 요인이 될 듯. 달걀 볶음밥을 추가했는데 쟤스민 라이스로 요리해줘서 맛있었다. 양도 푸짐하여 2인이 갈 경우 크랩과 볶음밥 하나면 양은 충분한 듯.
