Melting Shop Cheese Room — Restaurant in Seoul

We went for hubby's bd. Made rsvn, cause I didn't want to wait 30mins! Great spot for dinner. Ordered softshell crab popover, sundried tomato flatbread and seasoned fishroe pasta. Unfortunately, the pasta came out before the appetizer... How could they not get that right? By the time we were done with the appetizer, pasta sauce had solidified a bit and we had difficulty separating the noodles from each other. Food was tasty, I don't want to take that away from them... They give you all the chicory salad and arugula you ask for. No need to get a separate...

I love this place. It's not very cheap, but the taste and quality of the food compensate for the price. I adored the pistachio pasta. The blue velvet sour cream cake was also remarkable—you have to order it if you enjoy chiffon cakes and desserts that aren't overly sweet.

The rest of the menu looked incredible, and I would love to visit again. The service was nice.

We visited on a Friday evening, and it wasn't crowded, but I think making a reservation would be better, especially since their reservation system is easy...

Seriously? Why they have named their restaurant as 'cheese room'??? Cheese isn't main in their menu at all. Variable cheeses aren't expected in this restaurant. Who wants really many flavors of different cheeses, here isn't the place. My price/quality meter for this restaurant is horrible. Please use more interesting cheeses and make more interesting menus with them. Only ricotta, mozzarella, grana padano, regiano Parmigiano are too boring, wenn the restaurant should be called...
