On The Border Gwanghwamun D Tower — Restaurant in Seoul

I'm not a huge fan of On The Boarder but I don't mind it every now and again. It's a good place if you have a group who can't agree on where else to go. Which is why we ended up here in D Tower. D Tower has a wide range of restaurants which can be a good thing unless nobody can agree. We finally settled on this as nobody has any reason not to eat here. The have a really spacious area with seating inside the restaurant and also on an mock-outdoor area with large picnic type tables. It's still inside the D Tower but gives you the feeling of dining outside.

We ordered a set plus some people ordered their own. The set was a good deal and it fed three of us for lunch. The food was quite nice, I especially liked the salad. It was very basic but I hadn't had a good basic salad like that for ages so it really hit the spot.

The drinks were really fun they had some summer options so we got watermelon margaritas. The good thing is that they offer the drinks as both alcoholic and non- alcoholic so everyone can enjoy.

I would go back, however if I was going back I would probably check out some of the other options DTower has to offer. But if I didn't have anywhere better to go then On The Boarder is always a safe choice. It can be a bit more pricey of course as with most foreign...

When I went to Lotte Tower branch, it was alright. But the service here was really bad. The food is mediocre.. not at all worth the price. I think the best Mexican restaurant in Korea is Vatos tbh..

I was angry because I got there with 3 ppl after 8pm on a Saturday night. It’s not crowded in Gwanghwamun area on a Saturday. They had at least 3 empty tables in the patio area. I asked if we could sit there because it was 1) already quite late and their last order was 8:30pm or something. 2) there were not 1, but 3 tables available. But the staff said it’s only for GROUPS.. when I saw 2 people sitting in those tables...

The food here was extremely delicious and provided a satisfactory taste. The bustling atmosphere of this location of on the boarder provided a neat after work feel and gave the service a more layed back style. One improvement they could make is the service here was decently terrible. They make you order through and IPad. Our tables iPad had a massive booger on it. The waiters were very nice but the iPad was struggling and just didn't work all together. The waiters did not want to take our order and would make us order through the iPad no matter what. Overall great experience and would recommend.(the tacos...
