Let me not mince words: Myomi is one of the, if not the, best meal I’ve had in my life.

A 7 course lunch ~ one was good, four were fantastic, and two (the roasted duck & Alaskan pink shrimp tartare) were at a level so good that I couldn’t possibly find the words to describe the feelings. They were impossibly good.

It wasn’t just the food. The service was so professional but warm, that at one point I felt like the maitre d' (high-level waitress) was my friend. It wasn’t intimidating at all.

The view, overlooking Changdeokgung palace’s roofs, was rare (the view was why we chose lunch).

I can’t believe Myomi only has one star. They’re simply too good.

We celebrated my fiance's birthday in Myomi during his first visit in Seoul. Amazing foods, excellent service, exceptional selection of wine and beautiful presentation of each menu. Everything was just perfect. It is not a big place so it felt private and we got all the attention and spotless service from the staff. We had the autumn season menu and all the food was just wow.
