Lunch traditional style Omakase! Lucky to have the last spot of the day! No pretentious embellishment as OGAWA reputation simply does not require that.

Everything taste EXACTLY like it should be! Miso, Cheesecake.. everything is unbelievably delicious. The fish melted in my mouth. There are also premium ingredients like Abalone too. Everything does not have extra flavour so that you could taste the ORIGINAL FRESHNESS of the ingredient. Even the cucumber is handle with care here.

The Chef is SO ATTENTIVE to my need, while diligently making sushi in his hand. It is as if like he has been doing this consistently for so many years that he can even be doing it blindfolded. Did not take photo as I was busy using my senses!

2025 update. Same menu but somehow not the same taste .. not with the old...

They say a good meal is about bringing you great memories. This restaurant was such a gem. The location is rather tricky, it was at the basement of an office building. Once we found it, we experienced A great omakase meal. Made hubby and I miss Japan all over again despite being the second day of our holiday. Every piece of sushi was so well delicate and well prepared. The chef was engaging despite language barriers. The fish, needless to say, was fresh. The ambience was great. We left the restaurant feeling so content, the smile was coming directly from our tummy. If we ever return to Seoul, we will come...

Located in the basement of an office building with a dozen other restaurants, this place features omakase sushi at one of the best price points you'll experience in the world. There were about 15 courses of sushi presented, with such an exquisite range of fish, flavors, and textures, all offered with impeccable service. You will need to make a reservation, so if you can't call, I'd walk over during business hours to make a reservation. We went for lunch: there is a 11:30 seating and 1:10 seating for 70,000 KRW per person. There are 2 seatings for dinner, at I believe 140,000...

I have been regularly visiting the place. I believe it is one of best sushi place for the price range. Also you do not need to spend more money on sushi. Ogawa is just the right place for great sushi in Korea. It is hard to make reservation, and price has been hiking fast. But it is still worth it. Last time I went, I took 6 years old son. The chef made 2 little size sushi for him for every course. This is just great. Very kid friendly. How can it be more friendly? Please let me know if you know a better place at this price range.

Awesome deal on good Japanese style sushi. Attention to detail and great taste. Lunch for $50,dinner is $70. 15 piece lunch set was great. Abalone congee was fantastic. The abalone nigiri was very tender and the taste was spot on. The urchin is locally caught in the south of Korea. The meal kept getting better and better. I'd suggest coming early and taking the metro. Parking in and around this area is ridiculous. If you can't find it, look for the "royal building" ogawa is in the basement. I'd visit next time I'm in town.
