RUBRICA Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Seoul

I stayed the night at the Westin hotel and had dinner at Rubrica. My girlfriend and I selected the Caesar salad and beef tartare for our beginners. For our main course, we had the grilled monkfish and mushroom ravioli. Neither of us know anything about wine, but we asked the waiter who was very knowledgeable and recommended a wine that paired with our food extremely well!

The salad was excellent; the dressing was excellently mixed and balanced. The beef tartare was very good with the bread that came with our dinner. The ravioli had great truffle flavor and the cream sauce was so rich. But the monkfish... it was amazing. It was grilled so tenderly that we thought it was scallop. Bacon wrapped so that it had just the right hint of saltiness with the perfect amount of smokiness from the grill. I highly recommend it and plan on getting it the next time my girlfriend...

Absolutely love everything about this great restaurant with lovely ambience for both lunch or dinner.

Table service is excellent and prompt, multi-lingual wait team.

It was fun dining in European style after 10 days of Korean cuisine. The lobster spaghetti was excellent, tomato sauce exactly as it should be.
