They absolutely do not spare any ingredients and gave what my money's worth. Servers were very attentive and courteous all the time. We had the special weekend dinner course and were so stuffed at the end of our meal. Side dishes they provided for free as snacks were absolutely delicious. I could just finish my meal with just those four side dishes and a bowl of fried rice without ordering anything else. From the weekend special course menu, you can freely chose 10 items. One shared appetizer, one individual dessert, one individual noodle or fried rice, and 7 shared main dishes. If you ask the server to equally divide main dishes or appetizer into an individual plate for your party, they will do it for you. The amount of food they give you is a lot and you can freely choose from many dishes on the menu, so if you want to try out something new without costing you too much, this is your chance. Hong Yuan is authentic Chinese restaurant for Cantonese cuisine. Its interior and light present the exotic ambience and feeling that I were in Hong Kong. On weekdays, there is a special promotional menu of Peking Duck with table carving service + 2 Jajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce) at 180K KRW. Its Peking Duck has very different style, very tasty with savory crunch sauce in it. Its noodles have excellent chewy texture. Hong Yuan is a traditional Cantonese restaurant in every way, from the seating, to the menu, to the liquor and wine selection. They offer a wide variety of sets and we chose the Phoenix. There are also many ala carte offerings.

Every course was beautifully served and appetizing. Our server spoke enough English to be helpful and his two assistants were even better English speakers.
