We tried the hot Vienna Latte and it was delicious. The thick sweet cream on top was refreshingly cold. The coffee was bitter but smooth and balanced by the sweetness of the thick cream. Looks popular among the locals since it's supposed to be the oldest bakery in Seoul.

Came back again to have the Vienna Latte. Sorry, we previously thought it was the Vanilla Latte that we ordered but it was actually the Vienna Latte that the cashier ordered for us. Today, the staff were so helpful in allowing us to change the drink by paying for the difference when they realized that the drink we described was actually the Vienna Latte.

BTW, there are 2 branches in Seoul Station (KTX). We went to the one on the 3rd floor which has seating and is more like a cafe. The one on the 1st floor is more...

Time-honored bakery in Korea. The most famous menu is Monaca Icecream and you can order it at the cashier. If you want to take-away for long distance, you can get frozen-package with additional pay. Nice place to spend time during waiting for the train(or your friend). Since it has bit complex route to take the subway or buses, however, I'd recommend you to leave earlier than you expect...

가벼운 식사나 간식, 선물을 해결할 수 있는 곳. 친절하지는 않다. 처음 태극당이라는 브랜드를 이용해보았다. 지점은 많지 않으나 브랜드네임이 있다보니 공장이 따로 있어 완제품을 가져와 판매하는듯 보였다. 단팥빵, 피자빵, 맘모스 등 추억의 빵이 대표메뉴지만 브라우니, 몽블랑, 앙버터 같은 요즘 빵도 판다. 빵집답게 우유가 메뉴에 있는 점이 좋고, 공장화되어 메뉴에 칼로리가 적혀있다는 점도 좋았다.

오란다빵 카스테라 겉에 사과잼을 두르고 그것을 다시 소보로빵으로 감싼 것. 부드럽고 달콤한 간식. 콘브레드 옥수수로 만든 한국식 스콘 같은 느낌. 밀가루보다는 투박한 느낌이 나는데 버터, 잼과 같이 먹으면 꽤 괜찮다. 태극당 모나카 우유로 만든 아이스크림이라고 한다. 많이 달지 않고 은은하게 부드러운 풍미가 좋다.

직원분이 불친절하다는 후기가 많은데 실제로 말투가 상냥하지는 않았지만 우유를 미지근하게 부탁드렸더니 그대로 반영해주셔서, 크게 불편하다고 생각하지는 않았다. 빵맛도 좋아서 다음번에는 다른 베스트...
