I am writing this review with deep disappointment about my experience at Paris Croissant in Seoul Station on October 28,2025. Around 9:30 PM, although there were still many customers in the store, the staff were rapidly clearing all the bread from the counters into large plastic bags—almost as if they were competing with customers. If you hesitated for just a moment, the bread you were about to choose was snatched away. When I asked what time they close, the answer was 10 PM. I strongly recommend that management review how unsold bread is handled. If employees are allowed to dispose of products prematurely, it not only creates a poor customer experience but also leads to unnecessary loss of sales for the bakery.
What made matters worse was the cashier’s attitude—she was, without exaggeration, the rudest staff member I have encountered during my time in Korea. She abruptly informed me that they do not accept cash or Visa, only Mastercard. After I managed to find my Mastercard, she processed the transaction with clear reluctance and then literally threw the bread at me as if I were a beggar. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable.
I’ve noticed similar reviews from other customers. While product quality is important, a company’s reputation depends heavily on how it treats its customers. If management continues to ignore such negative customer experiences, even a store with good products will suffer. Additionally, the handling of unsold bread needs stricter control—employees should not be rushing to clear stock half an hour before closing, making customers...
Read moreMy “happy place” in Seoul. What a great find. ❤️❤️
Found the first one near Deoksugung Palace and the second one at KRX Seoul Station. Both had delicious pastries with friendly service.
You can’t go wrong with any of the baked goods here. My favourite is the Glutinous Doughnut. But then again, what is there not to like about anything glutinous. 😂
Second favourite is the Salt Butter Melon Bread. So soft on the inside and a crunchy top on the outside.
Will definitely be looking for more of their locations in Korea. 😋😋Hope it not just in Seoul.
FYI: You can see the pastry chefs working at the Seoul...
