Truly amazing seafood buffet next to Lotte Tower. You pay 100 USD or the daily equivalent in KRW and get an extraordinary buffet. The main reason going to viking‘s wharf is the boiled lobster which is cooked one after another. But besides fresh cooked lobster you can get many buffet dishes... from different kind of fresh sushi, sahimi of seafood, prepared dishes both meat and seafood as well as fish. There is almost nothing you can imagine which is not there. After eaten enough you finish with a lovely dessert cake or tasty icecream delivered by famous seoul suppliers. You can choose between branded beverages (pepsi, chilsung cider, evian & san pellegrino water etc). Regarding all the food and brands you will get, 100$ per person is really not expensive. You pay for what you get. Definitely to be recommended, but you should book a table in advance because this place is no secret.

RUN, DON'T WALK here!! Honestly, when I think of Korea, I envision markets and just walking down picking what you want and eating it right there... BUT it is nice to also step away from the hustle and bustle of it all and enjoy a nice meal! This buffet is a dream for those who love seafood! They have a grill section, hot food, raw seafood and sushi! They also have a small selection of desserts, coffees, teas, and drinks. While certain drinks are included in the cost, you can order additional champagne or soju for an additional cost. Each station where you're ordering specific items do have limits per visit but ultimately it's all you can eat! The way they have the stations organized is done well too with buzzers provided if the food is not ready and available in that moment. The top selling point is that it is also endless lobster!!! They even cut up fresh mangoes if you like!!

I’m usually pretty forgiving of buffet food, but this place was a disaster. First, charging in USD doesn’t make any sense—it’s just a weird, pretentious move by the restaurant. The place brags about quality, yet nothing was quality, especially the teeny tiny lobsters that were flavorless, whether it was steamed or grilled (where they mash up lobster meat, so who knows what you’re getting). Hot dishes from the buffet were bland, cold, mushy, and old. Fresh sushi was frozen so you couldn’t taste anything. You can get fresh mangoes—probably the best part of the buffet. Paul Basset coffee and TWG tea are watered down so it only seems to be high quality. If you pay a little more, you can go to any high quality hotel buffet, so don’t fall into this lobster trap like I did.

I would like to start this review with 1) My review, 2) Negatives, 3) Positives and 4) Recommendations. 1) Review- Location was easy to find (above Jamsil subway station, level 4 of Lottie World Mall)- Price was reasonable at US$100 (KRW 112000 daily rate) and 50% for children below 13- Food was overall very good, each...
