Avoid the tandoori!

For take-away we ordered tandoori chicken sizzler, kid’s tandoori chicken, kid’s tikka masala and some buttered naan.

The naan and tikka masala were good, but the tandoori chicken was the worst I ever had based on appearance and taste.

The color was a tan yellow, surface had no caramelization, underside was wet and taste was bland as if the seasonings and cooking method were non-traditional.

And to make things worse the adult portion was undercooked (pink and a little bloody in the middle) and had to be thrown out. The kid’s size used smaller pieces and was fully cooked.

Spoke with management and they graciously agreed to not only replace the order but deliver it too once I sent them a picture via WhatsApp. A digit was missing in my transmission, so they never got it. I went in the next day, shown them the pics. They attempted to tell me that’s normal for tandoori but agreed to replace. But when I got the order it was 2 vs 4 pieces because my pics zoomed in on only 2 pieces, despite me communicating we threw out the whole batch.

Ok so I've only given this review 1 star which is maybe unfair but I need to get attention of holiday makers. Read til the end please.

When we paid for this meal, my wife used her bank card, entered her PIN and was told it hadn't worked, so was told to enter again, which she did. All paid, no problems but next day we checked and 2 exact same transactions were showing as pending.

We phoned and returned to resteraunt and staff never really asked asked any questions and returned 1 payment to us. Now this may have been an error or genuine mistake but something didn't feel right and there was no argument or real discussion funnily enough.

Anyway We ordered poppadoms, main meals of Chicken neelghiri and chicken korma with extra spice, mushroom rice, naan and paratha. This was by far the best curry i have had in a long time and all for about €55. Great value, good service nice atmosphere.

Absolutely excellent. Cannot rate this place higher. I’m not a total Indian cuisine fanatic, but my husband is so I made it my mission to find this place (after sitting at the Elvis bar and being able to smell the wonderful flavours coming down from this place!). The popadoms & dips were to die for (genuinely, I know it sounds odd to rave about popadoms but they were 😍). I had a tandoori chicken sizzler with peppers & onions with a side of masala sauce, with two chapattis and every single thing I put in my mouth was utterly delightful. My husband went for the butter chicken, cheese naan, rice & chips. Again, he was absolutely on cloud 9.
