Burger King — Restaurant in Adeje

The worst fast food experience I have had in a LONG time. Only one member of staff on the tills about 1030pm on a Thursday which you think won't be too bad because they have the touch screens but the screens were out of order and the guy behind the till, friendly and polite as he was, was painfully slow. We made the mistake of placing our order on the machine them had to pay at the counter. It took is about 5minites to go through the menu as you do and get our order number to pay at the till (couldn't pay by card for some obscure reason) then it took is 27 minutes to PAY. There were literally two families of 4 Infront of us and they were ok. When I finally got to the till, I think I was supposed to guess what they wanted me to do (guy moved over to a second till and just stood there). Then I asked if he wants the money and he said "oh yes, come to this till" so I go over to the till and he then walks back to the first one to process my payment.

I was devastated to find that they only started processing our order after payment (don't get smart there are other fast food chains in Tenerife that start working on your order while you are paying) so we had more waiting to do. I eventually had to ask for just our cups to get a drink while we hoped for the best. The staff decided not to return my receipt so I'd like to tell you that te food was eventually great and all there, but I can't be sure. My husband swears he ordered cheese bites but we got chicken wings instead.

Just a disappointing mess. It will be a busy day in literally ALL of Tenerife's kitchens before I choose to go back to this Burger King. It was the end of the day so I would have been less tolerant of things andim sure they were. Tired too but the place also just looked scruffy. Floor needed a good mop.

One redeeming feature - the burger and chips were piping hot, but considering that we had to wait while they took all the food to the sun to be cooked on the first place, this is the least they could do.

What can I say about the atmosphere in Burger King ? This place was giving off a "lost hope" vibe.

On arrival the self order kiosk was not working the staff did not help the place was filthy to the point there was debri on the floor on the tables just everywhere the toilets were stinking getting the code or small condiments were vastly difficult you would think we had asked for a kidney the looks we were getting we had been to McDonald’s the day previous and what an absolute comparison clean restaurant nice staff good service where all the staff were not arguing right in front of you the que was ridiculous in Burger King the staff could not cope had no control Laura who I personally dealt with is a cheeky upstart with very little people skills who served food then pointed in my mother’s face, how dare she cheeky little girl !! demanding we leave that girl with the gold spectacles has no manners clearly lacks in any skill that is required to deal with the public whilst we were still eating she continued to put lights off around us bang chairs glare at us and clearly pass judgement in Spanish laughing at us whilst she did it the silly little girl failed to realise i had google translate on and could decipher every unsavoury vile thing that came out of her mouth that cheeky wee girl needs a lesson in manners on how to keep your job because it’s very obvious she doesn’t care about her position or how to treat another person she is rude, unsavoury and I doubt any mother would be proud to assume her as hers I understand it’s a mediocre fast food position to her but how you treat another person says astounding things about your character and she is vile she clearly needs another position she does not belong in the role she is in !! perhaps I would suggest a cleaner where she doesn’t have to deal with anyone except the unresponsive mop she handles as clearly people are not what she thrives in and I am not having a pop at cleaners they do a great job and it’s hard work. I for one am absolutely furious and if I’m truly honest I would never ever go back she’s a disgrace very very rude staff and especially if you are foreign basically told us to get out kept shouting closed closed she...

Placed an order which was over €50, waited over 30 minutes to receive which we weren’t bothered about as we understood it was a busy time. When our order was ready we noticed that there was a drink missing from the order, we mentioned it to the big lady who was working behind the desk, she said that it only said there was two on the order. However unfortunately we didn’t receive a receipt as the machine didn’t print it. I requested multiple times for a receipt so that I could check the receipt myself. The lady turned her back began to chatter and giggle on her headset and ignored me to which we then had to get her attention again, she reluctantly advised that there wasn’t one on the receipt however she’d give us a cup for a third drink. I still didn’t receive my receipt and upon arriving at home to enjoy our meal I noticed that there was also fries missing from the order. I have never once gave a bad review in my life as I don’t think it makes a difference however on this occasion I felt inclined to. I understand that staff can have bad days however we weren’t rude and we waited patiently for our food so I didn’t expect such basic questions to be met with...
