I went here as part of a large group with the all inclusive plan. Both the food and the service were comically bad. Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, they would not add two people to our table beyond our reservation (don’t even try to come without a reservation). When we were dining they kept trying to only give us two options to choose from, instead of letting us order of the all inclusive menu, which was kind of bizarre. Didn’t help that the wait staff barely spoke English. When they poured us water, it was like they were pouring an amount for a wine tasting. Also the food was really bad. You can probably tell based on the huge range of cuisines and the fact that pho and ramen are listed as appetizers that it’s not going to be good. Worst tempura of my life. Shrimp did not taste like shrimp. Yakisoba and udon appeared to use the same noodles?? Bao buns looked like they were taken from the buffet. All of this took about three hours for dinner. They failed to meet my low...
Read moreWell. It’s our third time in the hotel and we thought we would give this restaurant a try. Upon arrival we found that this is 3 restaurants in one… which immediately should have been a red flag.
If you are not all inclusive I would recommend looking elsewhere otherwise if you are all inclusive/ half board then go for it.
Gyozas are deep fried for too long leaving them tasteless and very oily… but could have been an odd day. However would recommend the tempura prawn.
The mains (Pad Thai) were just not all that. With hardly any flavour and just didn’t seem right.
I would advise heading to a main restaurant if you have not already paid for this in your holiday package. We should have known better if you could get a booking anytime any day. You will get better value for your...
Read morePleasantly surprised! Coming from the US we got a lot of options for bangin Asian food and usually when I’m in Europe my expectations are pretty low but the red curry here is terrific! Wife got the pad Thai and was excellent as well and finished with the mochi tasting. Didn’t expect much going into it especially with it being a chain hotel restaurant but was very pleased! If you like it spicy make sure to ask for it extra spicy as even asking extra spicy it still doesn’t have a big kick but was still very good. all in all staying at the hard rock hotel this was prob our favorite restaurant there even though everyone seems to recommend the sports pub which while was good.. tastes just like any other decent pub you’d get back...
