Pico Negro — Restaurant in Adeje

I had a pleasure of visiting this amazing restaurant during my stay in Tenerife South. The manager Ali salem is simply outstanding. He was so kind to me. I was on my solo trip with nobody to talk to but he made me feel so welcome with him and his team with their outstanding hospitality. The food in this restaurant is simply amazing. I did the prawns for two nights and some chicken asparagus . So flavourful. The cocktails are great. I am totally satisfied and would highly recommend this place. The restaurant has great views of the mountain and sea so you are sure to have a good time. The week I went in had an additional 50% off so was a great bonus for me , overall if you are staying in Melia Jardinia then this is the restaurant for you for all your meals and cocktails without a doubt !! We went to Pico Negro for a birthday dinner with my partner and we enjoyed it a lot! The service was excellent, the food is of great quality. It is not a fine dining restaurant, but also not your typical restaurant as well. It is classy and all the dishes are a bit creative. Very tasty indeed. The service was impecable as well. We even received a cocktail for free, I guess because of the fact that my ordered mango mojito got forgotten, and I have received a strawberry one. Nevertheless, nicely handled, and made up for the mistake. The view is also great. Warmly recommended.

Maybe one thing to improve if anyone from the staff is reading this. The entrance is quite hidden, just a plain grey door, which looks like a back door. Would be nice to have some marketing and the menus by the door, with a sign that this is the right place to enter for the restaurant, so that you see where are you going. All in all, it is just a...

We were staying at the hotel but didn't manage to get here for dinner, we only managed to get lunch, I am glad we did service is great from the staff here at Pico Negro. This was poolside in our hotel so was nice and chilled to look over the pool area but the scenery over Costa Adeje and Las America's is probably what most guests will comment on and take away from this restaurant not to mention the high standard of food on the menu as an added bonus. You don't need to be staying at our hotel to visit this place so if you are staying in the area definitely check in to Pico Negro. I had the vegetarian rice stir fry and it was really nice.
