blonde haired woman extremely rude. we decided to come back here even after a horrible meal last year in which the sunday dinner came out with ice cold roasties and lukewarm meat. So we came again to order some lunch before we left and went back home, sat outside expecting someone to come out and take our order as most bars/restaurants do? sitting there for roughly 5 maybe 10 mins and a blonde haired waitress very rudely from inside the bar said ‘ are u gonna come in and order or are u gonna just sit there looking pretty?’ it was said completely snottery, unnecessary and not welcoming at all. if u were ‘ too busy’ or whatever reason to come and take our order you could’ve just said ‘would u like to come in and order guys we are busier than normal’(even tho it wasn’t that busy at all). Ended up leaving and will most certainly not be back, shame as it’s not a bad bar in the sense of pricing, etc, but the staff couldn’t care less about manners or being welcoming and seem like they don’t want to be there or even like there jobs...

Called in this afternoon with my wife for a drink. There were two elderly men standing behind the bar and I asked for one beer plus a sangria. One man shook his head slowly from side to side - no sangria!

As I turned away to ask my wife if she wanted anything else I turned back to find both men were laughing at me. got the very distinct vibe both men are racist or xenophobic against Irish people.

My advice - definitely avoid if you’re non-English or just fancy a sangria.

We have been going to this bar for years and have had nothing but a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and customers, not eaten here but a lot do and the basic food looks good and is popular, Sunday dinners are a good price and very popular, I think they do them every day. Only criticism would be for them to stop people smoking, its not nice someone smoking next to you even outside. A few considerate smokers move away from the terrace but the selfish ones sit and dont care about people...
