When we first ate here there was only one other table eating at the premises. On our second visit there were several tables to be served and the experience was totally different. From our arrival our table was not set with cutlery, plates, napkins etc and when our starters arrived we had to ask for them. We were never asked what drinks we wanted until our food order was taken, not before. When other tables were vacated it took some time for them to be cleared and none were relaid. Tonight (Christmas Eve) , I ordered my usual Lamb Saag but I was recommended a lamb dish which has cinnamon in and being curious I tried it and its gorgeous!.....The only thing I will say is, if you normally go for Spice level, go for medium, because the extra spices in this dish have quite a bite to them!

The spice was perfectly tailored to what we asked, dishes were flavoursome and as they should be and like we have at the best Indian restaurants back in England. We had butter chicken, saag paneer and the chicken tikka sizzler.
We ate at Bombay Babu the night before and didn't not enjoy it at all, kids butter chicken was sweet and had to pick out the chicken for them to eat, our dishes lacked depth of flavour.
Don't bother looking at other restaurants...just eat...
