I recently had the pleasure of dining at Masala Zone, and I canât recommend it highly enough! From the moment we walked in, the warmth and hospitality set the tone for an unforgettable evening. We had the chance to meet the lovely owners, Madhu and Jathin, who made us feel like cherished guests from the start. They were both incredibly sweet and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. A highlight of the night was when I casually mentioned that it was my husbandâs birthday the next day. To our surprise, Jathin went out of their way to arrange a special birthday treat, which added a beautiful personal touch to the experience. Itâs clear that they genuinely care about making their customers feel celebrated and happy. As for the foodâEvery dish we tried was top-notch, full of authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The prawn tandoori sizzler was a standout, arriving at our table sizzling hot with a fragrant aroma that was impossible to resist. All in all, Masala Zone is a must-visit restaurant, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian tandoori cuisine in a warm and friendly setting. We left with happy hearts, full bellies, and a new favorite spot. Weâll definitely...
Read morePartner and I ate there's last night, we had (me) chicken phaal (that's my thing) she, chicken bhuna. I had chilli naan she had garlic naan, pickle tray and a few poppadoms a still water and 2 kingfisher plus she had a portion of bhajis. Firstly the bhajis were (swear word) amazing, round, not greasy, they were crispy and tasty. Sheffield finished with a kulfi. Madoo and a gent were serving (sorry didn't get his name). Madoo (owner I believe) was lovely and spoke with her a lot. Food... My phaal was the best I've ever had, and I eat a lot of curry, OH said her was superb, poppadoms were fine and pickle tray was ok (small portions though). Price was a little more than I have paid for similar in same area at 69 euros plus change.
Pros. Food amazing Staff great Good decor and quite busy without being too noisy
Cons (albeit small matters) Lost a star for value, slightly more than I expected to pay and the curry portions are not huge. Lastly the naans were not of the light and fluffy type I like and quite hard but the quality of the mains, bhajis and kulfi made up for the cons.
4/5 from me and I will be visiting again, thanks madoo (hope I spelt your...
