The Sixteenth — Restaurant in Adeje

customers are pigeons. Having an apartment in Playa Paraiso, I regularly come to show friends the rooftop. Sunday May 19, we came, we drank a bottle of gin, cocktails, etc. My friend orders a first round of shooters for €16, then a second round. When the shooters arrive, he puts a shooter on the side, and says it will be for the waiter who is celebrating his birthday today. They pay and realize that he is paying €26.50. he goes to the server to tell him that there is an error. the waiter told him “no, you told me to charge for an extra drink for the waiter’s birthday”, even though he understood very well. I'm really disappointed because usually this waiter is always pleasant but today he convinced me not to come back to the rooftop. he could very well have apologized or given another drink instead but we are really suckers worth paying. Wildly overpriced.

If you're considering coming here for a nice dinner and to watch the sunset, or even just to enjoy the rooftop bar, I’d seriously think twice. Unless you're staying at the hotel, the restaurant is an outright rip off. You’ll be paying around €20 per dish for things like wings and nachos, but the quality is more in line with a bargain basement pub. It’s not the type of food itself that’s the issue, it’s the laughable mismatch between the price and the quality. The service, too, is mediocre at best.

As for the rooftop, once you’ve made it through the overpriced dinner, the views are admittedly great and the music isn’t bad either to their credit. But the poor experience downstairs, followed by more inflated prices for drinks upstairs, really takes the shine off the whole evening. You're essentially paying double what you'd expect at a genuinely good spot elsewhere on the island.

Top tip: Eat elsewhere, catch the sunset, then head to a nicer...

The location /ambiente is nice. The prices for cocktails are expensive and there is just a small menu for cocktails.

the Volume for the music was too loud.

My biggest disapointment is because this hardrockbar has nothing to do with rock. Only pop songs! probably thats the reason why there were so many arrogant people who want to show they have money.

All in all, cocktails were nice but if you expect rock music, rockpeople and rockatmosphere in this hardrockhotel/bar, you will be more disappointed than the fact, your dad didnt return after going to...
