Viva Mexico — Restaurant in Adeje

We visit tenerife at least twice a year and allways go viva mexico on our first and last night. Allways loved the food and never had a problem, hovever there was plastic in my daughter and wifes drinks. My daughter found it in her drink first and had it exchanged. Then my wife found plastic pieces in hers. At this point we had finished eating and went up to pay the bill taking the second drink with plastic in up to the bar. I showed the manager lady possibly owner as she has been there every vist and allways polite, this time she just started ranting in spanish to the waiters insinuating we had put the plastic in the drinks. We never asked for any discount never made a fuss just showed her the plastic. If we wanted to complain we could of moaned about the fact our food order was wrong but we just accepted it and ate. Ordered take out from this place via Uber Eats & it was a complete sh1t-show. The nachos with refried beans were literally just a tin of uncooked black beans dumped over soggy fried chips with a solid lump of cold cheese in the middle. Husband’s enchilada with chilli con carne topping was just a folded in half tortilla that would struggle to be defined as a quesadilla with a tiny amount of chilli & nacho cheese sauce on the top. Arrived in a pizza box, stone cold. Veggie fajitas cold & flavourless (apart from a weird bitter taste), with guac from Mercadona. Literally the worst meal I have ever witnessed in my life. 🌯good mexican food 8/10 We ate the burritos with rice & salad - they were good but without the cheese sauce it would have been better 🤭 and the tacos with chili con carne was absolut 💯 but pricey for only 3 tacos 🌮 🧾price: 9/10 All in all the price was pretty good for the food you get 🎖️service: 8/10 el servicio fue bueno y las chicas muy agradables ❣️
