My experience at Mango was very positive from the start. We first visited their cocktail bar and noticed they had a Thai restaurant just across the street. We tried to make a reservation, but it was fully booked. However, the waiter went above and beyond to find us a table, which we really appreciated.

The cocktails were expertly crafted, with a level of detail that was noticeable in every sip. And when the food arrived, the experience got even better. The Thai food was authentic, reminding me of the flavors I enjoyed during my travels in Asia. The manager and chefs are Thai, and you can taste that authenticity in every dish. It was one of the best meals I’ve had.

The cleanliness and order of the place were impeccable, both deserving a 9. But what truly stood out was the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure we had a perfect experience. Their attention to detail was one of the highlights of the night.

This is a tourist-oriented Thai restaurant in Alcudia. I ordered the Pad Ka Prao with beef and a side of fried rice. Well, I’m not an expert in Thai cuisine but I found the taste disappointing. The ingredients felt disconnected, lacking the harmony I expected from a well-executed Asian dish. I usually enjoy spicy food, but in this case, the heat felt overwhelming rather than enjoyable… But it might just be that Thai food isn’t quite for me. On a positive note, I appreciated their open kitchen. It’s always reassuring to see food being prepared fresh and transparently. I’ll probably give this place another chance and return to try their crispy duck, a dish I’m more familiar with and better...

Sadly this was a somewhat disappointing meal. My partner and I both had pad Thai and they were both pretty bland. I can't be sure but I think they might not be using tamarind and getting the flavour from ketchup instead, there was not even a hint of chilli or coriander and overall just a bit meh. The starters we had were good and my son had the "special" curry which he said was great so perhaps we were unlucky. I just felt pad Thai is pretty much a standard that any Thai restaurant should be doing well.
