Probably the best all-round 3 course meal I’ve ever had. The friendly staff, the atmosphere, the service, and the food, everything is faultless.
I tried three dishes I’d never had before and loved them all. Tumbet to start, similar to ratatouille but with the addition of sliced potatoes. If that was given to me every day, I could be a vegetarian!
The main was the honey and garlic cod, which I’d read good things about before booking. It surpassed expectations, a 4 inch thick chunk of perfectly cooked fish with a stunning sweet sauce. The only thing I will say is that the dish is very sweet, which I’ve seen people oddly moaning about… it’s honey sauce, what do you expect? It was perfect for my tastes but someone looking for a more savoury dish should order something else.
My other half had the John Dory, which I tired a bit of and was also delicious.
I finished off with the goats cheese dessert with fig sauce, which yet again was incredible. Not too sweet and hit just the right spot.
We also nailed two jugs of their sangria. Tip: get the litre jug. It’s not strong and you will want more! The best I’ve ever had.
You must try this place if you’re in the area. Very important to call ahead and book, it does get busy.
All in all in not sure I’ve had better nights out to eat. When everything about the experience comes together like that it does combine to make something special and memorable.

Read moreMy husband and I picked this restaurant for its good reviews – and we can confirm – this restaurant is definitely worth it.
Firstly, the ambience is absolutely wonderful. It is located in a beautiful romantic alley, with warm streetlights turning on after dark.
Secondly, the waiters welcomed us with warm hospitality. The waiter who received us explained in advance that there was a free table but that we would have to wait for a while. As we were not in a hurry, we decided to sit down. He collected our orders, and then another waiter brought us some olives, bread, and garlic spread as an appetizer while we waited. A little spontaneous chat with him added to the experience of true Mallorcan hospitality.
Thirdly, the food was delicious. We both ordered a house specialty: pork fillet with cream sauce. The meat was so tender that it melted in the mouth, yet it wasn’t overcooked.
At the end, we were served a nice little digestivo (digestif) as a surprise for being on our honeymoon.
As said at the begining - definelty worth it! :)
We suggest making a reservation in advance, as not long after we arrived the restaurant was full and many guests couldn’t get a...
Read moreIf you're visiting the backroom is a really lovely setting. The staff were all very friendly and chatty and in particular a big fan of the waiter reccomending us the house wine and not try and shaft the most expensive bottle (although the most expensive bottle here is still very reasonable). Decent bottle of house too.
Tomato and garlic bruscetta to start was tasty and with excellent bread coverage. No bald spots which the fans love to see.
The paella was exceptionally average. By no means tasted bad but didn't have much taste, needed a good amount of seasoning and still didn't get much spices coming through. All the seafood was well overcooked so the squid was chewy and the mussels in the shells were obliterated to Borrowers size. There wasn't a huge amount of seafood and meat in there too which was slightly odd because looking at other tables they seemed to have got more generous portions. We actually ordered another starter after finishing the paella.
Reading the reviews and seeing the other meals come out I think we made the wrong choice because some of the mains around the restaurant didn't look and smell excellent. Overall just very disappointed...
