Taco Bell — Restaurant in Alfafar

Coming from America I can't understand the pricing and fascination of Taco Bell in Spain. The restaurant at 9pm was packed with people, and not young people, grown adults. The parking lot was full, and most of the restaurant was full. There were lines to order and get food, and the drive through was wrapped around the building. We were amazed and caught off guard, what in America is usually very fast food, and very inexpensive, here with the minimal living wage, it was priced much higher. We purchased two meal deals for our kids, that in America would have been around 8 dollars max with drink, was almost $20 here. Not complaining, just wanted to let other Americans know what to expect in regard to pricing. The restaurant was clean and well staffed. The food came out quickly enough even due to the line. A brilliant time, extremely friendly staff.

The food here is lovely compared to what I am used to within the UK; larger portions and less greasy, and the options to pick from were vast - It all tasted fresh.

I had an issue with my food where there were possible cross contamination in preparation, however, upon notifying a member of staff, they remade some food and apologised, using a new pack of ingredients.

Additionally, a friend had an issue where a take away were mistaken for rubbish. When alerting staff, they retrieved the food and prepared a free item off the menu as an apology.

Lamentable trato y respuesta nada profesional Nada mas llegar buen trato por parte de la cajera pero ha pasado mi tarjeta 4 veces hasta el pago definitivo ( espero solo me lo haya cobrado una vez ), mas preocupada de un pedido que no estaba de Globo, que de mi propio cobro. Aparece mi nombre al poco de pedir, en pantalla y me acerco al mostrador y cuando llego ni hay bandeja, ni nadie, le pregunto a la primera chica que veo ( con polo naranja) y le enseño mi ticket con mi nombre y le digo ha salido en pantalla, a lo que me responde que no estará aun, 10 minutos después esperando en el local y viendo como salen pedidos de gente que llego mucho mas tarde que nosotros , vuelvo a hablar con otro empleado, y le pido me mire donde esta mi pedido a lo que me trae dos helados, le indico falta mi comida, le pido hablar con el encargado ( la anterior a la que le enseñe el ticket con polo naranja sale disparada para dentro al ver mi cara) llega el encargado y este planta en el mostrador dos bandejas con mi pedido que estaban en el piso superior de los pedidos para llevar, y me dice que me han llamado hace 20 minutos por mi nombre tanto dentro del local como en la terraza ( mentira) ya que yo estaba dentro y mi mujer e hija en la terraza y vaya que casualidad que ninguno ha escuchado mi nombre, estaremos todos muy sordos. La falta de profesionalidad y respeto al cliente es mínima por el equipo y en especial por el encargado, al que he pedido dos veces hablar con él ( nos ha mentido en nuestra cara y en vez de darme una solución simplemente se ha limitado a devolvernos el dinero, nosotros nos hemos marchado sin cenar, puesto que no estábamos dispuestos a comernos la comida fría que nos han dado.
