4 Elementos Gastro Bar — Restaurant in Alicante

We found this place whilst exploring the city an needed a break from the sun. Even though they were closing soon Carmen and Maria served us drinks and tapas so we decided to go back for an evening meal later in the week. They reserved us a table and made us feel really at home. As well as great tapas Carmen serves good simple food cooked beautifully and with love. We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere in this friendly little place. Carmen then introduced us to Cacique - a rum from Venezuela, which is both wonderful and potent and had us staggering happily through the streets of Alicante to our apartment! Thank you for a lovely evening. We were just sorry that we found you at the end of our holiday but we will be back on our next visit...

Just left Elementos & we couldn’t find any fault with anything, I had lamb chops with potatoes, beautiful & 3 large chops, my wife had the Salmon with salad, salmon covered the plate and a lovely salad, she loved it, not one for taking pictures of food in restaurants so no photos, wine excellent, not cheap but you get what you pay for, a bottle each 1 red & 1 white only drank half so sat on balcony...

Extremely disappointing lunch experience. 9 euros for 5 meatballs swimming in a very salty tomato sauce. Under-cooked pimientos de padron. Mushrooms with garlic and pre-packed serrano ham and burrito which was cold in the middle. When asked for feedback and given same, not even an apology. I would not recommend. Plenty other places to eat in...
