La Milagrosa Rooftop — Restaurant in Alicante

We came on a saturday at about 1900hr and had to wait before being seated with a party of 6. Whilst we could see table to be ready through the waiting space windows we needed to wait unnecesary long.

We ordered some drinks and service was prompt. Parasols were closed and the sun was setting but the terrace is too small to close the big parasols without breaking glass and create inconvenient situations.

We need to pay on our way out. The cashier was on the phone and let about 15 people wait for her. When finally being able to pay, she couldnt find our ticket, asked us whay we had and aksed me to stand aside cause other waiters couldnt pass.

It was a true chaos and little respect for the client. Its overrated, overcrowded and the waiters and people behind the counter should step up their service and attention to the client.

Also instead of house 60 clients make it 50 so clients and...

I used to go a lot about 2 years ago, and back then it was wonderful. However, I went recently and was shocked. It has changed a lot. The setting is lovely; wonderful view. However, frankly, the drinks are terrible . The cocktail selection was very small. Apart from that, you would expect that the cocktails they did have would be good, but we were very disappointed. We ordered sex on the beach and it tasted like boxed fruit juice. I had to ask the waitress if they had brought us the correct cocktail with alcohol, or accidentally made the virgin versions (which are also available). I was very disappointed because it's a bar that I really really used to love, but despite the amazing view I doubt that I will go back. It makes me sad because the staff was quite nice, but that did not make up for the bad quality of the drinks. I really wish I could still go here....

Came here for 30th birthday with around 20 people. Wonderful venue. For medium sized groups going for company drinks, family events or just looking for a bar with a nice view you can do A LOT worse.

Abner, the events manager was simple brilliant - he dealt with last minute changes like a professional and was happy to accommodate decorations and some music choice.

One comment : we ordered a tapas menu with a free bar for 1.5 hours for €28 per head. Drinks were fine but the food was a little scarce for the price I must admit. However, for the location perhaps it's justified.

Would absolutely recommend this to anyone...
