Aperitius Gisbert — Restaurant in Alicante

I walked past the storefront of Aperitivos Gisbert many times without stopping in, as it was always full of people, and to be honest, somewhat intimidating. On a whim, I entered the bar one afternoon, where I was warmly and attentively welcomed by both the server and the owner, Jordi. As a result of this positive encounter and after some discussion, I arranged for a custom event for a group of ladies the following week.

Jordi provided an intimate ambiance for our vermouth tasting experience. The selection of vermouths catered to both connoisseurs and those new to the drink. He guided us through the tasting, offering insightful information about each vermouth's origin and flavor profile. Jordi also provided a selection of tapas appropriately paired for each vermouth. The attention to detail and the cozy atmosphere made it an enjoyable evening for eight vermouth enthusiasts!

Very friendly and helpful staff who are more than happy to offer suggestions and advice. Great menu of tasting dishes including alchofafas, spicy pericana and morcillas - all delicious. Todo tiene muy buena pinta pero no volveremos. Nos cobraron 40€ por dos vermuts, dos tercios y tres bolsas de patatas fritas (1 de patatas, 1 de cortezas, 1 de torreznos). La excusa fue que el precio de las bolsas de patatas (2,50€) aplica sólo si te las llevas, si te las comes allí te cobran cuatro raciones. Entiendo que podrían habernos informado al servirnos las bebidas o en alguno de los muchos momentos que pasaron por nuestra mesa. Nos llevamos una pésima impresión.

Contestando a su respuesta y obviando su socarronería gratuita, me reitero en que se nos pudo haber informado en algún momento, teniendo en cuenta que se nos iba a cobrar el cuádruple por cada producto y que el motivo de consumir allí las patatas fue que íbamos con niños pequeños. Hemos estado en otros establecimientos en los que se podía adquirir productos y consumirlos o no en el lugar sin variar el precio de los mismos, no es algo tan disparatado como usted plantea. Entiendo su lógica y su funcionamiento, simplemente considero que habría sido de recibo explicárnoslo.
